Picked up the floats from Horizon.  Packaging could be better as I had a large dent in one float, but that was the only issue.

Floats come complete with built-in rudder servo and does not require any major assembly to install.  In fact it only took fifteen minuets to completely install the floats. They even come with a servo extension and a y-harness for the receiver rudder channel to connect the float rudder.

I’ll double check the balance and with the Morgan RC battery cartridge adjusting the CG will be easy.

Flight report coming soon.

Update: 10/26/2014 – Took the cub to a float fly but the morning and afternoon were blown-out with 15-20 mph gusts so no flight report this time.

Dusting off the R/C Duck and ordered floats for the Carbon-Z Cub.  I’ll review the installation of the floats when they arrive this weekend.
